On Wednesday, August 4th, Bradford-Tioga Head Start, Inc. (BTHS) provided a free swim day to members of the Blossburg community. Held from 12:30pm to 7:30 pm, lifeguards showed their support by wearing BTHS attire.
Those who participated were given BTHS bags filled with goodies that included a beach towel, beach ball, sunglasses, etc. The snack shack at the pool handed out free hotdogs and water, provided by Bradford-Tioga Head Start, Inc.
Bradford-Tioga Head Start, Inc. sponsored this event to show support for the Blossburg and surrounding communities and to also bring awareness to the Head Start program.
